Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 40ft Steel Motor Cruiser for sale with residential mooring at South Dock marina.
Built in 1969, this rare Cebec 40 has been modified extensively to be a comfortable and stylish liveaboard boat and with its highly desirable residential mooring, this boat will be in high demand.
Retaining its original Perkins diesels which are both still functioning well, this boat could also be used as a weekend cruiser to escape down the Thames.
There is a large aft cabin with freestanding double bed and plenty of storage and a convertible double berth in the bow for guest accommodation. The wheelhouse and galley area both offer seating areas and the appliances in the galley itself have all been upgraded to a domestic standard with large fridge and cooker.
South Dock marina is often at the top of people's lists for moorings because of its location and community feel. The marina is run by Southwark council and has lower mooring fees than surrounding private marinas. Current mooring fees are roughly £3,900 p.a.. There are showers and a laundry for use by residents as well as 24 hour security and CCTV.
