Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are pleased to offer this Moonraker 36 for sale with residential London mooring in Limehouse Basin, E14.

Built in 1972, this two cabin boat would make an ideal liveaboard option for someone who wanted to be close to central London. It has been really well maintained by the current owners (who is a marine engineer) and has recently had the decks repainted, the woodwork varnished and the wheelhouse has also been relined and looks very tidy. The engines have been regularly serviced.

These boats are equally at home cruising upriver as well as blasting down the estuary and the 130HP engines will take the boat all the way up to 20 knots.

With its aft cabin layout, there is plenty of space on board for guests and two bathrooms will give everyone a bit of privacy.

Limehouse Basin is London's most desirable marina with full residential status and excellent transport links. You can leave your boat and be at Bank station in 20 minutes or walk to Canary Wharf in 15 minutes. The mooring fees are £8,430 p.a. paid upfront, £9,100 paid monthly and there is a 5% transfer fee payable to the marina management to secure the mooring license. The marina has excellent security, laundry and shower facilities as well as the ability to install fixed phone lines.

Viewing is highly recommended and demand will be high as it always is for Limehouse boats.
