All the way forward is the anchor locker with access to the stem and forward planks and frames. Just aft to port is a double bunk and to starboard is a counter with storage below. This cabin is painted white with varnished trim. There are port lights and an overhead hatch for light and ventilation. Up a few steps on the starboard side is the rather large carpeted pilot house. There are 360 degree views from the many large windows. On the starboard side is a convertible couch that sleeps two. Across the back an athwart ship settee elevated for enhanced visibility. There is a large overhead chart table that swings down when in use. There are sliding doors port and starboard for entry and side deck access. Aft and starboard is the companionway to the head with a new electric toilet and a shower enclosure.

Next aft is the galley with a diesel cabin heater, four burner propane stove with oven. The L-shaped galley includes counter space with cupboards below, a large sink, refrigerator with freezer and a microwave. There is an attractive spice rack on the white painted bulkhead. Aft to port is the dinette with a highly varnished mahogany table and seating for four. To starboard is a long high counter which provides space below for a washer-dryer and two large storage areas.

Aft and up a few steps to the enclosed aft cockpit.

A very attractive feature of this design is the many individual spaces that provide separation and versatility for owners and their guests, the flybridge with guest seating, the private enclosed aft cockpit, the galley dining, the pilot house and the forward cabin combine to present the sense of a much larger vessel. The long waterline and narrow-beam hull, driven through the water by the Nissan diesel engine, easily reaches hull speed and leaves very little wake.

Broker's Comments

Step back in time to the beauty and grace of gracious and leisurely water travel, surrounded by mahogany and cedar crafted into this now classic vessel. A more modern diesel engine, upgraded electrical wiring, modern electric head and holding tank, propane cooking and diesel heat all provide for current cruising comfort and reliability. There is plenty of room for owners and guests in three spacious cabins as well as an enclosed cockpit and the flybridge with ample seating. In August 2020 a haul out was completed where several structural issues were addressed -- transom was rebuilt, new swim step installed, some refastening of the hull, two planks were replaced, all seams were re-caulked and re-seamed, and the bottom and topsides were repainted. The deck was repainted more recently.
