A reliable 2012 Cummins 5.9L 6BT 210 HP engine is installed with only 537 hours - a horsepower upgrade from the stock 160 HP engine. Excellent fuel economy comes with a 7 knot cruising speed at only 2 GPH, and higher speeds are easily achieved with this engine.
The ship's energy capacity is impressive. Northstar AGM batteries provide for 1,200 amp hours in the house bank which consists of six batteries. A 1,000 watt inverter-charger provides for power underway or at anchor and is connected to the house batteries. It has two 15 amp grounded outlets. For engine starting two more Northstar AGM batteries are used. These are charged by engine alternator or shore power. And, two more Northstar AGM batteries are installed in the lazarette to power a raw water wash down pump or other devices as desired.
A high capacity Victron 2500 watt Inverter/Charger is in the boat with the necessary wire but is not yet connected.
A Kohler generator of reportedly 5 KW capacity is housed in the lazarette but has not been operated by the owner.

The 34 Sedan Trawler hull is a solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull design with a fine bow entry and a full-length keel below. The prop and rudder are protected by the keel which is a nice feature for Northwest waters.
Overall length is 37 feet.
Air draft height is based on the manufacturer specifications (not including the canvas enclosure).
Waterline Boats / Boatshed did not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Broker's Comments
This is hull #1 of one of the most popular small cruisers ever built: the Mainship 34 Sedan Trawler model. The boat has strong mechanical, electrical, and navigation systems and currently is in need of interior finishing and exterior finishing and repairs.
A Cummins 210 HP diesel was installed in 2012 and has only 537 hours of use. This is an upgrade in horsepower from the stock engine and is known to be one of the most reliable diesel engines. A massive 1200 amp-hour Northstar AGM house battery bank is installed with a 1000 watt inverter for power underway, and a 2500 Victron Inverter-Charger ready for connection . A current Garmin 4212 multi-function chartplotter system with radar is installed as well as a Garmin 3010C chartplotter at the lower helm. The ICOM VHF-DSC radio includes a remote command unit at the lower helm and there's an ICOM AIS Receiver ready for connection. There's a four-zone Espar hydronic diesel furnace included as well that is ready for installation.
Restoration has begun on the boat interior, and the remaining work involves basic carpentry and installation of the owner's choice of trim features. Outside, the non-skid paint on the deck appears cracked and rough in places and the gel coat is worn in certain areas suggesting exterior painting is in order. The flybridge boat deck core appears soft in places when walked upon but provides easy access for core repairs.
This boat represents a solid foundation for further improvement by the next owner who has the interest of completing the project and is value priced now with this in mind.
