Broker's Comments
This houseboat started life as a Fraserburgh trawler, built in one of the best known yards in Arbroath. We have documents showing she was still fishing around the Northern Irish coast until at least 1999 and then was converted to a houseboat sometime after. She has been in Bembridge since 2004
As you can imagine the volume down below is Tardis like! All the cabins are vast, as is the storage area aft and the accommodation has been arranged so you get maximum benefit of light in the galley and saloon - the view when washing up is fantastic!
She has all the facilities you would expect to find in an apartment or beach house as water and electricity are from the mains.
Included in the sale is the mooring plot with a lease that doesn't expire until 2104. Current ground rent is believed to be £80 per annum and this includes parking space.
