Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this unique houseboat conversion for sale with highly desirable residential mooring at Greenlands Dock.
This former Harbour Service vessel built in around 1935 has been converted into a fully functioning liveaboard. Originally a steam-powered boat, the space on board is contained within a galley and saloon and four separate cabins offering seven berths.
The hull is wooden but has been copper plated to give it extra durability.
The master cabin, situated amidships is spacious and has a huge amount of storage and dressing table. The other three cabins have single bunks which could be converted to different uses depending on preference.
The residential mooring at Greenlands Dock is fully transferable on agreement with marina management and no transfer fee is applicable on this boat. Mooring fees are roughly £5,800 p.a. and have been paid until April 2016 so there are no mooring fees to pay until then.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
