The boat is boarded from the wide swim platform through the transom door, or from the convenient port or starboard side boarding doors in the cockpit bulwarks. The large covered cockpit provides space for several deck chairs.
The interior is entered through the sliding aft cabin door. To port is a large semi-oval settee, nicely upholstered and with a very attractive hi-lo dining table. Across to starboard is the entertainment cabinet with nice stereo and video equipment. Two large barrel chairs disprove the common belief that comfortable seating is impossible on a boat this size.
The galley is forward port and features a like-new Force 10 propane stove, a large stainless-clad Haier refrigerator freezer, a double sink and lots of solid-surface countertop.
The helm station is to starboard and has a tightly-sealing helm station door to the side deck.
Nice joinery throughout, with attractive woods and inlays. The interior was built to be both beautiful and nautical.
The forward companionway provides access to the guest stateroom (to port). The twin berths convert to a double when needed. The master stateroom is forward, with a nearly-walk-around queen berth. The head is nicely-appointed and has separate access doors from the master stateroom and the companionway. The shower stall is very nice and has a curved glass shower door.
The flybridge is accessed from the cockpit up a real staircase. As a sedan trawler the flybridge and boat deck are huge -- plenty of room for deck chairs and/or a dinghy, a barbeque center with stainless steel grill, sink and refrigerator, two settees (which make fine single berths when needed), a fold-out table, and a commanding helm station. The flybridge is capped with a hardtop and a quality enclosure.
Cabin heat is from a Webasto hydronic diesel-fired heating system, and a Red Dot-type engine heat system.
Many opening windows (with screens) for ventilation and high-quality stainless steel portlights.

Broker's Comments
This Friendship 39 Sedan Trawler is a striking boat -- in its condition and in its design. She has very low hours and offers a big interior with plenty of beautiful joinery, two staterooms and a large salon and galley. The flybridge is remarkable -- with tremendous seating and entertaining facilities, a hard top and a full enclosure. Wide walkaround side decks and high bulwarks make this an ideal trawler for those who insist on easy and safe access around the boat.
This is not a familiar boat under this brand name, but the construction and quality of the boat appear to be consistent with the highly reputable Chinese yards making more familiar high-quality trawlers. For design it can be compared with Mainship Trawlers and Grand Banks europa-style sedans. For execution compare to North Pacific or CHB Trawlers. Solid construction features, fine joinery, high-quality stainless, and many other well-done aspects mean that this is a boat that will last.
