Broker's Comments
Here we have a nice little diesel Freeman 22 that has a lot to offer and is offered as a "light project vessel "at a very realistic price.
The boat is a typical Freeman and has its good and bad points. She has the standard Freeman layout vee-berth forward with infill. Good upholstery and a midships heads compartment with recent sea toilet fitted. The galley is original with a sink manual water systems and two burner hob and grill.
She has the benefit of a well running Perkins diesel engine through outdrive leg and the engine was serviced and a new alternator fitted earlier this year.
She has had a new, genuine Freeman canopy in the last year and her cockpit upholstery (new in 2019) is all in good order.
Lastly, she has a bathing platform for rear access and to allow stern mooring with the outdrive.
The work she needs to bring her back to a very smart blue-hulled Freeman are all the normal Freeman issues. Some of the woodwork inside would benefit from a rub down and varnish and the windows are leaking in places which is common to all Freemans as they all need re-sealing at some point. The walkways on the deck need repainting with anti slip paint.
Other than that this is a very nice little diesel version needing cosmetic renovation of the wood and windows, so is outstanding value.
Due to the above she is offered at a very good price taking these issues into account.
Her BSC has just expired but she should pass that inspection without any issues according to the owner.
The boat details are subject to contract.
