Broker's Comments
Fairline have a good reputation for producing quality motor cruisers which perform well whilst not compromising on comfort. They've been building boats in the UK since 1963, and the Turbo 36 came from the pen of Bernard Olesinski in1982. 216 were built making them one of the most popular of the Fairline range
It's not difficult to see why they are still so popular, you get an awful lot of boat for the overall length. The flybridge has seating and sunbathing space as well as the helm and has easy access with shallow steps and a handrail rather than a ladder. The aft deck is ample for sitting out, side decks are safe to walk around and the foredeck seems vast, again considering the size of boat.
Below she feels spacious; the interior is light and airy with great visibility and the saloon looks like you'd be comfortable whether at sea or in port. The versatility of the seating allows for additional berths if required but also means you can get really good access to the engines below.
The aft cabin is surprisingly roomy, an island double berth, generous en-suite with shower and plenty of storage, again a nice feeling of comfort and privacy there, particularly important if you are spending long periods aboard. The forward cabin is also a good size with the option of singles or a double berth using the infill. It's well ventilated and light to again give the feeling of comfort.
She's manoeuvrable and easy to handle, essential for short handed enjoyment, yet the great use of space gives her real liveaboard potential be it cruising or alongside.
