Broker's Comments
This Fairline Phantom 38 is now available and can be sold with a London mooring at South Dock Marina if required. The boat is priced to sell so the mooring is an optional extra if they intend to continue to use it as a liveaboard/pied-a-terre.
The boat is in decent condition but the exterior could do with a good clean and the interior cabinetry is starting to show its age. Mechanically, she is in good condition and she was run down to Chatham and back in late 2020 so the engines have seen some use. The 306HP TAMD61-A's were serviced in 2020. The electrics have also been completely overhauled in 2019.
The '38' in the title is a bit of a trick as the boat is actually 42ft long and feels incredibly beamy when stood in the saloon. There are two cabins with two heads so a great family cruising boat. Having grown up with flybridge boats, I love this classic layout and this could be a great boat for someone to use this summer. The gelcoat appears to be in excellent condition so there isn't massive investment needed here.
The leisure mooring at South Dock Marina can be transferred with the boat and allows for 365 day liveaboard usage making this an excellent option as a pied-a-terre, especially considering some of the other boats currently on the market in the marina at similar prices. The boat could be sold without the mooring down the line for the current asking price if you wanted to keep the mooring too and change the boat. Current mooring fees are £6,000 per annum.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
