Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are pleased to offer this Fairline Fury 26 which is being sold with a leisure mooring at South Dock Marina in SE London.

The current owners have previously used the boat as a London flat while they were working in the city and this capable cruiser has a good deal of space to make it ideal for an individual who needs a place to stay during the week.

The boat was built in 1970 and has been well looked after during its lifetime. The Volvo Penta AQ130 is in particularly good condition. The flybridge on this boat means that this boat has far more storage space than a normal 26ft cruiser and there is room on the foredeck for storing bicycles. It is also well equipped internally for living aboard with air conditioning, a washing machine, microwave oven and CO and smoke alarms too.

The forward cabin can be set up as a double or two singles and the saloon table converts into a second double if required.

The boat is currently moored on a leisure mooring at South Dock Marina in Rotherhite. The mooring is transferable to any new owner. The marina is fully serviced with laundry facilities, showers and loo blocks, CCTV as well as craning and boat yard facilities. Current mooring fees are roughly £3,300 p.a. which works out at about £60 a week. Great value in the highly competitive London market for moorings!
