Broker's Comments

This 1931 Dutch-built steel barge has been converted to a comfortable liveaboard and is sold with the benefit of a leisure mooring in Hampton.

Some of the modifications are reliant on shore-power and mains sewage reducing the chores associated with living afloat. However, these could be reversed to allow the boat to be a continual cruiser. She is currently on a leisure mooring, which is transferable with the sale. The mooring fees are £650+VAT per month, benefitting from a friendly community and landscaped communal gardens.

The vessel is all steel construction with the exception of the wheelhouse, which could do with some maintenance.

Hampton Court station is 15 minutes walk from the marina and Hampton station is roughly 20 minutes walk making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to be able to commute into central London easily.
