Broker's Comments
This one off design from the ship yard of Dale Sailing exhibits all the quality, craftmanship, attention to detail, performance and styling, synonymous with these beautifully presented boats.
The 34- semi open cruiser was built to exacting standards for her current owner, meticulously maintained and dry stored when not in use, this boat shows 'like new'.
In a word, versatile best describes "Hummingbird". The design blends ample external space, perfectly suited for fine weather days on the water, although with simple adjustment of the canopy, this area becomes sheltered from inclement conditions.
Below, one finds all required for a comfortable stay aboard. Accommodation includes private aft cabin with large double berth, well appointed galley, opposite spacious heads offering shower, toilet and sink.
Crescent shaped saloon seating fits neatly around central saloon table, easily converted to offer a second double berth.
Twin skylights radiate light throughout the cabin, beautifully finished with American Cherry hardwood timber and veneer.
Powered by twin Yanmar 6BY2 260HP, giving a top speed of 35 knots, achieved in a swift 18 seconds. Handling has been describes as "remarkable” by Stewart Campbell from Motorboat and Yachting.
As with many Dale boats, "Hummingbird has returned to her place of origin and has passed through the workshops she was conceived in to ensure presentation for sale is to the highest standard.
