Broker's Comments

Boatshed Grand Union are delighted to offer this totally unique houseboat for sale with mooring at Limehouse Basin in central London.

Built in 1944 for the Admiralty, this one cabin boat provides unrivalled character in London's marinas as a liveaboard. The teak hull has been surveyed in the last two years and is known to be incredibly sound and all decks were replaced ten years ago and painted last year.

The interior is spacious and light with a central heating system and a large double bed in the charming cabin. There is a good sized aft deck for entertaining in the summer and the boat itself benefits from having a side on berth to give great 360 views across the marina.

The boat is on a pied-a-terre mooring at Limehouse Basin and current mooring fees are £9,071 p.a.. The marina itself has a managed office with 24 hour security and laundry and shower facilities for berth holders. The marina is enviably situated close to Limehouse DLR and you can be at Bank Tube in 15 mins from the door to the boat.

This boat gives someone a rare opportunity to own a unique property so viewing is highly recommended.
