Broker's Comments

This craft was owned by Alan Coombes who built 'Bembridge Swans' and 'Normandy Class' boats among others, from the 1950's onwards.

Mr Coombes bought the hull of this classic cruiser and fitted her out entirely himself - the attention to detail and bespoke joinery is truly lovely. He was her only owner.

Stepping aboard I could instantly see that the boat has been well cared for; fresh varnish, new antifouling, clean and tidy with lots of light to the roomy interior.

The wheelhouse cuddy has been extended to create a really useable saloon area and a dry and comfortable place from which to helm, this extension has in turn made this vessel a one off.

The boat was lightly used for week long holidays around The Solent and fishing with friends but could go further afield in comfort easily.
