Original owner was an Air Force officer, followed by a Marine Corps officer who both lived aboard with their families in Washington, DC for approximately 29 years in total. Reportedly, and as evidenced by the engine hours, it was used very minimally. The boat was shipped to the Everett Navy marina when the second owner was transferred and remained there for approximately 4 years before being purchased by current owner. Boat has been operated approximately seven times in the 1.5 years of current ownership.
Current owner has been conscientious in retaining a mechanic who has addressed many issues.
Owner reports that engines run very well. True speed and fuel consumption is unknown. Owner has operated the boat on short commutes and reports a very comfortable cruise speed at 15 knots; the maximum speed reached has been 25 knots and reports she ran smoothly.

Broker's Comments
VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS 1984 CARVER 3607 AFT CABIN - This boat has a life history of being a live aboard "condo"; hence the extremely low hours for its age (158 hours) which the seller reports as accurate. The current owners purchased this boat to use as a commuter boat and to live aboard while in the city, as well. However, they have been conscientious to remedy issues found in their survey and the engines reportedly run well.
Interior is dated but is clean; it has a comfortable feel.
The layout seems prefect for couples or a small family to cruise and it is imaginable that its history as a live aboard could easily be continued.
