Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this Broom Ocean 42 for sale.
This 1986 example is offered in good condition with a bit of investment required to finish her off. Recently used as a London pied-a-terre, Ocean 42's are still popular for their sea-keeping abilities and well laid out accommodation with six berths across three cabins.
From my initial visit I found that the electronics were all working, the engines started and ran well and the overall impression is that the boat has been well maintained. The teak deck and exterior could use some work but the boat is priced to reflect that.
The current owner has recently replaced the holding tanks, the carpet in the saloon, battery charger and fitted new batteries.
The boat is currently moored in St Katharine Docks and the mooring could be transferred to the new owner (5% transfer fee) if required. This would allow pied-a-terre usage to make a great London bolthole.
