Broker's Comments

This Broom 37 Continental makes a great River, canal cruiser as well as a capable and safe sea boat. She retains dual classification under currently registered french maritime.
Broom have always had a reputation of builders of quality, study and robust boats.
This boat's air and water draft make her capable of cruising most of the inland waterways of Europe. The twin Perkins HT6354 engine installation gives her the speed and power to navigate against river currents (during normal conditions). The Broom 37 is also a very capable and sea kindly salt water cruiser.
As well as being substantively constructed, the interior systems and accommodation is also engineered to a very high standard.
This boats is largely original throughout. Everything within the boat is in good condition. There has been a recent, expensive and extensive upgrading to the DC 12v, 24v and AC 220v electrical systems.
This boat has been listed with Boatshed during the Covid 19 lockdown and confinement measures. The owner was unable to attend the boat with us.
The owner has not visited the boat since November 2019, however, the boat is clean, dry and without odour inside. The boat will look much better on the outside as soon as the owner is able to visit and wash the craft.
We understand that the moorings may be available but any prospective purchasers will need to contact the VNF personally to establish the exact situation.
This is great example of a renowned and desirable vessel that has, and will continue to resist the effect of time.
Currently moored on the Canal du Midi with the airports of Beziers, Montpellier and Carcassonne nearby.
For more information or organise a visit, please contact, Graham, your local broker at Boatshed Midi Canals.
