Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are pleased to offer this immaculate Broom 10/70 for sale.

This boat is sold with option of a transferable mooring in St Katherine Docks by Tower Bridge, London.

Nyanga is a coastal cruiser ideal for longer trips that you can step on board and take straight to sea. However with its mooring license in St Katherine Docks, two heads, large saloon, large aft cabin, added wardrobe space and good headroom common to Broom boats, it is also a fantastic liveaboard; an ideal pied-a-terre in central London.

Since purchasing this fine example of a 10/70 from Broom two years ago, the current owner has spent over £22,000 on improvements and added equipment to bring the boat up to an unusually high spec.

Including a completely re-built starboard engine, a new cockpit cover that encloses the entire aft deck and helm station creating an added room topsides, new lighting throughout the boat, a re-modelled upper helm to incorporate a new Raymarine chart plotter and Garmin GPS. All this work carried out by Broom in their Norfolk yard.

In addition the boat has a new computerised Webasto heating system fitted by East Coast Marine (Webasto official dealer) that heats the whole boat in a matter of minutes, winter or summer, and brand new fitted carpets throughout.

The leisure mooring license at St Katherine Docks is transferable to a new owner following a meeting with the marina management. Current mooring fees are roughly £9,000 p.a. The boat could be used as a pied-a-terre with good access to Central London.
