Broker's Comments
Where to start with this incredible boat!
This a very rare and superb quality Brooke Marine 40 foot fast cruiser that has been built to an unbelievably high standard and exudes quality wherever you look!
She has been fastidiously maintained by her current owner of some 10 years who has spared no expense in looking after this vessel by appointing Broom boats to maintain her at every turn. The file of bills and receipts is impressive to say the least.
This genuinely stunning vessel represents fabulous value given her very high specification, fit out and space available. Her quality fit out is attributable to respected boat builders Whisstocks of Woodbridge and she feels very special indeed.
She offers a incredibly spacious true three cabin layout accommodation, with large en-suite sleeping cabins at either end of the boat. The aft cabin is a dedicated double while the front cabin is a dedicated twin. Both are very very well appointed and comfortable spaces. The large separate saloon can convert to a further double and the large wheelhouse raised saloon area can be turned into a further single too.
The galley is opposite the comfortable and sociable saloon and offers ample space and facilities. This boat gives a good 7 foot of internal headroom throughout, so she feels incredibly roomy and airy.
The large and well appointed wheelhouse has an additional large saloon style seating layout to starboard with the added practicality of twin side sliding doors for easy access to the very wide decks. She is fitted with two air-conditioning units, two Webasto diesel heaters, a large Fisher Panda Generator (7.3kva) and every cabin or space has its own stereo system making this a truly fully equipped, comfortable and flexible boat for spending extended time aboard.
She is not only a quality and comfortable place to live and spend time but she has the mechanics to go almost anywhere with two powerful Ford Sabre engines, full nav and instrumentation and full passage making ability.
Her list of fittings is far too long to detail here but include Whittal electric davits, Bow and stern thrusters, electric toilets, Coolmaxx air conditioning, the list goes on and on.
Her beautiful wood interior is in stunning condition and cossets you in a feeling of real quality craftsmanship at its best.
As you would expect with such a well looked after craft her river toll and Boat Safety Certificates are all up-to-date and valid.
If I was to be critical of this stunning boat it would be that her toe rail could do with a new coat of varnish which is no a big job, plus there a couple of small ( and i do mean small) areas of the superstructure that would benefit from a little paint being touched up. There are a couple of minor wooden panels within the boat that would also benefit from a re varnish. However that is really all I can find to fault on her. Personal taste may mean a new owner may wish to have newer nav kit fitted, however the fitted items seem perfectly serviceable.
If you want a stand out, go anywhere vessel that delivers a big boat feel with incredible build quality and accommodation, then this is your chance to obtain a very special and rare Aluminium boat that represents amazing value!
