Broker's Comments

The Beneteau Antares Flybridge 30 is one of the smaller flybridge options on the market. Don't let that fool you though, this clever boat design includes what one may expect to find on a 40ft plus equivalent.
The comfortable and well appointed interior comprises a place to eat and to cook, two cabins, bathroom amenities, a good flybridge, a roomy lazarette for all cruising paraphernalia, and a big bathing platform.
These boats have developed a sound and safe seakeeping reputation and perform very well even if conditions are on the lumpy side.
The flybridge seating arrangement doubles to provide a sun lounging area and there is cushioning and space for two on the bow also.
Easy interior access from the aft deck is gained via glass sliding doors. Internally the wow factor comes from huge surround windows. Large segments slide back for easy external communication and ample ventilation.
The master suite is comfortable and spacious as are the single berth bunks to port and the starboard head opposite.
The boat is driven by a Volvo Penta D6- 370hp combining brand assurance and reliability with a large powerbase. Interestingly It is widely reported the Penta D6/ Antares combo gives best fuel economy at an unusually high cruise of just under 20 knots.
All in all a well found, fast and economical cruiser with an excess of space both inside and out. I also like the fact that she is unmodified and nicely original. This owner (second) has decided to go back to sailing.
