The 4550 Pilothouse is a Pacific Northwest classic and has been known as a flagship of the Bayliner line. Based on a low deadrise, 15 inch keel and fully cored hull the design permits a range of speeds to permit slow, economical cruising or a fast escape to beat currents or approaching foul weather. This boat is set up for Northwest cruising with Hurricane diesel heating and a 5 KW Westerbeke generator. Consider adding a watermaker for use with the generator if you seek true self-sufficiency in cruising remote coastal locations.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed did not verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Forward of the main cabin are two staircases that lead to accommodations below decks or up to the pilothouse and flybridge. This passageway space is wide and open to allow excellent sight lines for the helmsman in the pilothouse. The pilothouse is very wide with two doors that lead to the deck outboard, an L-shaped pilot berth-seating area, and an expansive helm with full controls, excellent visibility, and a comfortable helm seat. A ladder leads to the flybridge from here, which passes through a glass door which provides additional light inside the pilothouse.

This features a queen size berth and ample storage in drawers and lockers. Opposite to starboard is the main marine head compartment. This includes a stall shower and tub in the roomy compartment.
All the way forward is the master stateroom. This is a very large space which includes a unique convertible stateroom-office space on the port aft side which is a design feature of this Bayliner 4550 model. VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!
This Bayliner 4550 has many live aboard features that provide for comfort and a grand quality of life. From the upper boat deck to the aft cockpit, each space shows pride of ownership and versatility of use. It will cruise as a displacement vessel traveling at 8 to 10 knots or get up and plane at 16 . The seller reports that at 10 knots the boat achieves two miles per gallon. It is currently moored in a privately-owned covered live aboard slip which may also be available for sale. Anyone considering a live aboard vessel in this price range should schedule a showing. I do not expect this boat to be on the market very long before it is sold.
These boat details are subject to contract.
