This RIB has been owned and operated by a local field study centre for taking resident students and lecturers to the places being studied and dive spots for research etc. Therefore she has been coded for this purpose and maintained to the requirements. The reason she is now for sale is that certain parts of passenger coding has changed and she does not comply with the seating section. However, she could certainly be used as a dive vessel or safety boat etc. While there are some areas showing a bit of age, she is a well made, super strong boat and tubes the hold air perfectly, there are no patches or repairs. She has most of the deck gear needed to go to work again, subject to what code is being sought. That said, she could also make a perfect private boat, being so tough and seaworthy.
