Broker's Comments
I am very pleased to be able to offer to the market this very tidy example of the ever popular Aquafibre 38 centre cockpit cruiser.
This one has been in private hands for a number years now after leaving one of the broads hire fleets, and has been loved and improved in that time by her diligent and caring owner.
She has a current valid Boat safety certificate (date of exp to be confirmed), her current broads toll for 2022 is paid and has a well running Nanni Diesel engine that starts and runs as it should. She shifts her gears with no abnormal noises or vibrations etc.
The boat has had new batteries, steering cables, seating upholstery, mains shore power with top end battery charger system all added and is very well presented. The layout is all very tidy and feels spacious and refined and is a lovely place to spend time afloat. The true 4 cabin arrangement gives space and privacy to couples or a larger family and offers great flexibility and space to cruise with friends.
These boats have a lovely feature mouldered into the superstructure up front, which is a wide bench at the bow for 3-4 people, which is great for whiling the time away either moored up or whilst underway.
The boat has a large centre cockpit with full sliding wheelhouse roof that is winch operated, and a folding forward screen so she can pass under all the broads bridges with care. With the roof down she offers a wonderful open air cruising experience to best enjoy the summer days and views over the broads and alfresco cruising and dining opportunities.
From the moment you step aboard the practicality of the boat is evident. A large deep aft well with steps either side gives safe, easy entry and egress, and in itself this aft well is a nice place to be when cruising.
Moving forward through the aft sliding door you find yourself in a large open plan aft saloon with “L” shaped seating that converts into a good sized double if required. The open plan layout includes the port side galley so feels convivial and roomy, and has windows that offer a wonderful view of the river.
The well-equipped galley has everything you would need including a microwave, quality fridge, full cooker with oven, grill and 4 burners and plenty of work space and storage. The standard of the fit out is very good and appears to be in good order throughout. Moving forward to starboard you have a large (and I do mean large for a boat) heads and shower compartment with 1 of two pump out toilets and this is a full wet compartment design.
From here moving forward we step up the the raised centre cockpit / saloon 2, which enjoys new upholstery and which can also convert to a double sleeping area. With the roof winched down and the screen lowered this is a wonderful space from which to enjoy open air cruising and the good weather. The helm station is to port and is spacious and comfortable and well laid out and has additional controls for the webasto warm air heating system and the onboard inverter system. Moving forward from the centre cockpit we have another good sized heads and shower to port with a small double cabin opposite to starboard with its own storage and wardrobe.
Finally in the bow there is a good sized twin cabin that could be made to convert to a double with an Infill panel of so desired.
This boat represents excellent value for the accommodation space, flexibility, equipment and general condition and will be sure to please her new owner for many years to come.
If you are looking for a spacious flexible river cruiser that can do it all then look no further!
