Broker's Comments

Stepping aboard this Gaff Rigged Cutter, a scaled down version from Laurent Giles design stable, feels like stepping back into a special bygone era of sail with beautiful classic lines. Sitting in the cockpit, you get a feeling of safety due to its depth and the clever use of space. The tiller is comfortably positioned for the helmsperson, and there is plenty of space for passengers and crew. There are also three large storage lockers located under the cockpit seats.

Her decks feel uncluttered, and there is a nice wide side deck to accommodate sail work, including working around her bowsprit. Stepping down below is again like stepping back in time. Her woodwork and classic lines are a joy to behold. She benefits from a good-sized nav station which is well equipped. Next to the nav station is her engine bay, which is easily accessed for basic checks due to the hinged companionway steps that pivot to one side, allowing access.

Her galley is well-proportioned with a sink, storage, and a deep top-loading icebox. The saloon has two long bench seats on either side of a large central folding saloon table with two further folding leaves, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy good food and drink for the skipper and crew.

Moving forward, there is a well-appointed head on the starboard side and a large wet-hanging locker on the port side. The forward cabin has two large berths and benefits from natural light streaming in from the cleverly designed and positioned deck prism lights. Forward from the front cabin is access to a further storage area which also houses the anchor chain.
