Broker's Comments

This delightful Broom Skipper 30 is a very nice example of the type, and offers a very traditional and comfortable river cruising experience with excellent accomodation!
She is a very well presented clean and tidy boat, that has a spacious saloon with the fully equipped, compact but very usable galley at the aft end. This has great views aft! She is a very orginal boat and one of the first skippers made by Broom boats, and still has her plaque at the helm station.
The forward cabin is a very good size and can be made into two singles or a large double as shown in the pictures. She is tastefully upholsetered and has original headlings throughout and all are in excellent condition. The main cabin was re-upholstered in 2018. She also had a new hot water calorifier, immersion heater and waterpump in 2018. She was last antifouled in 2019. She has seperate heads and shower compartments that are in good order and an electeric pump out toilet is a real bonus.
She may benefit from fresh carpeting being fitted in places, however other than that she is hard to find many faults with.
The perkins 4107 diesel engine starts readily with no smoke and runs very very well indeed.
The cockpit canopy is easily removable and with the added benefit of dropable cockpit screens and sides so she should easily pass under all the broadland bridges allowing access to the more remote parts of the Norfolk Broads. She also has additional canopy matched door entry canvas covers. This truely is a great example of this classic broads cruiser from one of the best boat builders in the region, and will delight her next owner. These boats have real character and a sgtrong following as well as superb accomodation!
She is broads toll paid for this year and has a current BSS to 2022 so she is very much a turn-key classic broads boating experience and ready to go!
These are well respected and sought after boats so viewing is highly encouraged as she is a very nice example!
