Broker's Comments
This traditional motor cruiser is nicely presented and is undergoing annual anti fouling, some repainting of the coach roof, and repairs to the rudder prior to being refloated.
She's recently been kept on a drying mooring. I found no evidence of leaky windows or plumbing.
The interior is charming and spacious. The electrics all work but there are no navigational instruments to speak of. This is a boat more at home on inland rivers, canals or the broads. She could make an ideal family holiday retreat or even a liveaboard.
The engine is a Perkins 4106 and has been little used in the past few years. It was serviced last year and will be serviced again prior to sale. The canvas cockpit cover is sound and the upholstery in excellent condition.
There are a few very seemingly minor DIY improvements that new owners may wish to undertake.
Since the previous long term owner passed away the family have done their best to look after the boat even though they have scarcely used it themselves.
She has the charm of a floating country cottage.
