Broker's Comments
I am very pleased to be able to offer thIis stunning Broom 1070! This is a superb and high quality example of these hugely spacous craft in top condition throughout. She really must be seen to be fully appreciated.
This particular boat is in stunning condition and exudes sophistcated style and amazing living space. The aft cabin layout offers enormous accomodation in a very useful length of boat. The large and well appointed saloon can accomodate all your friends in cozy comfort and the separate forward cabin will sleep guests in privacy, or provide comfortable accomodation for your cruising companions. Two heads compartments offer great flexibility.
The forward heads has a brand new Jabsco deluxe electric toilet with diverter valve, to holding tank. The aft heads seacock is capped off after spending much of her life on the Thames. She did have a porta poti in this heads but has no got a pump out manual toilet fitted. This has yet to be connected to the holding tank or seacock.
A new 5kw Diesel heater has also just been fitted!
The quality of the Broom 1070 workmanship is legedndary and evident everywhere you look. The wonderfully bright and upto date galley complements the classy and practical interior of this quality cruiser. She is powered by twin 130HP Volvo Penta diesels and can hit 17 knots with ease.
This boat will delight her next owner with comfortable safe cruising and precise twin engine handling, and has a real presence on the river!
These are sought after boats that offer quality and roomy cruising both inland and offshore, and I am certain she will not be around for long, so viewing her is highly recommended. She has just been delisted on 17/03/21 after being removed from sale to make further improvements over the winter.
She was last surveyed in 2017 (available) and this glowing report details nothing of note and only a few minor recommendations all of which have been addressed at the time the current owner purchased the boat from her previous owners of some 20 years!
This is one boat you can buy with confidence!
