Underwater profile | Semi-Displacement |
Finish | Gelcoat finish |
Online reviews comment to the interior of the hull on this boat being gel coat covered which means there is no unfinished raw fiberglass on the inside of the boat. In theory this means there are no sharp fiberglass areas inside cabinets and lockers to cut your hands when reaching into unseen areas. The boat is strongly built with FRP encapsulated stringers of 2 x 10 Alaskan Yellow Cedar. At the engine beds those stringers are tripled . This design also has a full length keel.
This Bayliner suffers from a common Bayliner malady -- a Radar Arch with interior wood core covered with vinyl that has not stood the test on time very well. The structure appears to be good but the cosmetics need attention.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Aft cabin with ensuite head is full-width and accessed by stepping down three steps. The bed in this room has been converted from a corner pedestal mount to an athwartship tucked up against the stern wall. Lots of storage and a big head and shower make this a large and comfortable cabin.
Forward of the salon is a down galley to port and a dinette table that is convertible to a berth on starboard. The galley has the standard features plus a trash compactor. Forward of the dinette and to port is the head accessed by either a door from the common area or from the forward cabin.
The boat will sleep up to six people.
It also has a large flybridge where the owner replaced the upholstery, canvas and enclosure about 3 years ago. The upholstery and carpets down below were redone at that time as well.
Heat is supplied from a diesel furnace with separate zone controls.

This 4387 Bayliner has had some nice upgrades in recent years. The flybridge canvas and enclosure is only about 3 years old as is the upholstery both above and below. Twin diesel engines with a bow thruster make it very easy to manage around marinas. In this broker's opinion it's also one of the prettier designs Bayliner made with a big covered aft deck -- lots of space for socializing. It has twin cabins, two heads and a spacious salon. There are a few projects the boat needs but none appear to be expensive and the owner is willing to consider offers even on the reduced asking price.
