The Bayliner 38 hull has tunnels built in over the propellers. This design gives more power to the props. Hull construction uses a traditional hand laid method with isophthalic gelcoats and a hybrid-resin barrier over standard resins. Syntactic foam coring is used for high strength and low weight.
This is a hard chine vessel and can travel at higher speeds.
There is good access to both engines and generator. The vessel was hauled in 2018, bottom painted and some blisters repaired.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify measures and capacities, which are reported from seller-provided information, and/or literature.

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!
The Bayliner 38 sedan with flybridge is one of the most popular family cruising boats ever built. There are over a thousand of them on the water.
Its popularity is based on many factors but primarily on interior design. It is a two stateroom boat with two separate heads. The single shower/tub is designed to have access from the master stateroom and from the guest head. The galley is equipped with a 3 burner propane stove and oven . The refrigerator is full size with a separate freezer. There is a double sink with plenty of counter space and storage. The saloon area has a large movable table and seating for six in the dinette.
Another major feature is the flybridge. The standard bridge area has seating for at least 6 and the optional hard cover for the cockpit adds more seating or storage. The aft deck is also fully canvas enclosed.
The seller of this boat has extensive maintenance records -- actually a file drawer full of records! There is also a large quantity of spare parts and materials aboard, such as engine oil and filters. Another strength of this vessel is one of the engines was completely replaced and the other has low hours.
Seller's tools aboard are excluded from the sale.
The boat is ready for its next cruise, and is located at our dock here on Lake Union. Please call for a viewing.
