As you board this Bayliner 3218 you will immediately notice many upgrades and custom touches added by these owners. Beginning at the stern is a 2017 Achilles tender with 15hp Mercury outboard secured to the swim platform with a new (2017) hydraulic Weaver davit system.
The cockpit, accessed via a port transom door, is fully enclosed and covered with a hardtop extension. You access the flybridge via the ladder for seating, the upper helm and access to additional storage on the hardtop covering the cockpit. The owner acknowledges the seating on the Flybridge is not in good condition. They seldom use the flybridge so their focus for improvements and upgrades was on the interior, the engines, and dinghy.
Entering the main cabin you are greeted by many custom upgrades: LED lights throughout (2016) make this a very energy-efficient boat. Upgraded upholstery on the settee and helm chair (2014), custom blinds (2014), and counter tops (2015).
The layout is open and inviting for a small family or cruising couples. The aft cabin is to port with a large king size berth, private sink and storage.
From the main salon area, you step down to the well appointed galley to port. Custom counter, sink and backsplash (2015), new refrigerator/freezer (2016), Seaward Hille propane stove/oven and Magic Chef Microwave.
To starboard is the head with upgraded electric Dometic freshwater head (2012; holding tank 35 gals), new sink and fixtures (2015).
Just forward is the v-berth with matching custom upholstery, reading lights, storage underneath the berth. The anchor locker is in the bow.
