*JUNE 2023 - JUST SERVICED, VALETED, ANTIFOULED AND ANODES FOR SEASON
Welcome to this well-maintained and thoroughly enjoyed example of a Bayliner 315 Sports Cruiser. New in 2011 and owned for the last 5 years by the current owners, she has been berthed in a marina and is lifted annually for a full valet and anti fouling. Her twin Mercruiser 4.3 V6 220hp engines have also been serviced annually with the full service history available upon viewing.
This Bayliner 315 sports cruiser has a spacious cockpit which has a removeable, fully enclosable bimini, two seating areas, a removeable table, convertible sunbathing bed, rotating and height adjustable helm position, and impressive helm unit bringing every feature to your fingertips.
The cockpit also boasts a hand basin with hot and cold water cool box bar area with 12v charging/power outlet, access the the swim platform on the stern with hot and cold shower head to rinse off after a swim.
Access to the foredeck is through the windscreen which easily folds away, with built in steps on the companion way sliding hatch door. The foredeck is again a spacious area with two large sunbathing beds and a gangway towards the pull pit. The electric Windlass can be controlled from the bow or even from the cockpit which makes this sports boat a great option for families, socialising, and entertaining guests of all boating abilities. A great addition is the remote controlled multi-directional spot light, controlled from the helm position, ideal for returning home or picking up a mooring after dark.
Down below is accessed by stepping down through the spacious companionway into the galley and saloon areas. It is light and spacious with long windows that run along both sides, and hatches in the ceiling letting in plenty of light and air in the summer. Included are bug screens that can be fitted over the open hatches. She also has central heating and air con fitted throughout. The saloon table can seat four and the table can drop down to convert the space into a single bunk, with a free view TV above (which only works on shore power).
The galley is located near to the companionway which for me is a plus point as it makes it easier to pass food and drinks up, but also provides natural ventilation whilst cooking. The stove is a combi meths burner whilst afloat or electric hob when plugged into shore power. There is the addition of a microwave and fridge which both work whilst afloat, with an impressive amount of storage space in the cabinets and drawers which are all push button, lockable for security whilst underway.
The cabins are both double berths, the forecabin is separated from the living space by a curtain with loads of storage locker space underneath the cushions, currently housing the cockpit table, bug nets and the saloon bunk's additional cushions. The aft cabin is accessed through the door on the port side of the companionway. The double bunk is located under the cockpit so one must crawl into bed but there is plenty of natural light through windows and hatches in the ceiling and with lighting in the right places it feels spacious and not at all claustrophobic. This would be the choice bunk if it gets choppy as it is central and towards the pivot point of the vessel so would be the most comfortable.
The current owners have used this sports cruiser as a day boat and weekender around the local area, throughout the Solent and have thoroughly enjoyed her with all the family and friends over the last five years.
