Broker's Comments
The first thing that struck me once I stepped onboard this Bayliner 2859 was the enormity of the cockpit area. The head height and beam of the boat give a great feeling of space and light. She has the added benefit of a nice sized swim platform on the stern to really allow for great use of the cockpit area.
The helm position is also very well established allowing great all round views for the skipper, and a very well laid out consul with easy viewing and control of all of the navigation and helm controls. She is also fitted with a great array of navigation and helm controls including a bow and stern thruster for manoeuvring the boat safely in any conditions.
Next to the skipper's seat is a very comfortable looking "L" shaped couch seating area for guests and crew to enjoy the ride when underway.
Moving down below into the forward galley saloon area which again gives you a feeling of space, makes you think you are on a much larger boat. The current owner has obviously spent a lot of time maintaining and looking after this boat as she appears to be in immaculate condition and obviously very well maintained.
She has a very nice large galley area which is again reflected in the large saloon galley table which allows four very comfortable seats and great views throughout the boat, and a large flat screen TV is also mounted in this area for relaxed entertaining.
The forward area of the boat has a very large two to three berth lounging area that can be used for relaxing throughout the day or as sleeping berths at night.
The heads is again a very good size and is fitted with a full sized toilet.
Another double berth is cleverly located under the cockpit which is accessed via a cabin door on the port side just as you step down into the boat. The cabin, again, is of a nice size and mounted above the double berth is a flat screen TV.
In my opinion, this is a very clean and immaculately maintained and presented version of these rare boats on the market and would advise early viewing in order to avoid disappointment.
