Broker's Comments
Barens Shipyard, based in Durban, S.A built a range of steel cruisers in a variety of sizes and rig configurations, but all designed with long distance ocean sailing in mind.
This is a cutter rigged ketch, originally built and fitted out to a very high specification and although she does appear to be complete she is now in need of a major refit.
There's lots of equipment aboard however, not tested. We are told engines were running and there is some power showing but again no systems have been checked since she came ashore. There is a lot of boat here.
She's in a good yard and inspections are welcomed.
