Broker's Comments
The Albin Nova is typical of her era of Scandinavian boat design, a fast cruiser-racer with clean lines and an excellent 40% ballast ratio. Known for high build and interior fit-out quality construction, production ran from 1981 until the late 1990s and although there are not many in the UK they remain very popular in northern Europe with their good performance, clear decks and comfortable accommodation
This particular example has been well maintained and it shows. She's just enjoyed a long yard period and at the end of the season sails and cushions are stored ashore and she's clean and dry and well aired
A well thought out and traditional layout with good sized berths and lots of storage makes her an attractive family or distance cruiser but she'd be equally at home racing around the cans. She'll turn heads whatever she does
