Broker's Comments
The Albin Ballad is a fast, seaworthy cruiser-racer from the 1970s and has proved to be very safe and comfortable with excellent performance in both heavy weather and light airs.
This Albin Ballad is in good condition for its age, particularly the hull (recently repainted), deck and top sides. She also has an extensive inventory of electronic navigation equipment, unusual for a boat of this age. She has been well maintained during her current ownership, not surprising given her owner is a crew member of the local lifeboat.
It is fair to say that some restorative work is required below decks, particularly to the furniture. Some woodwork may require replacing and a complete re-varnish is most likely needed.
That said we think this Albin Ballad is in above average condition for her age and with the work outlined above completed, could be a wonderful example of this classic.
