Approaching this boat she is a commanding presence! High bow and bulwarks, complete walk around access, aft deck space for entertaining or stowage, and a completely enclosed fly bridge. She separates herself from many of her dock mates!
Her mid-size length belies her large-yacht interior volume: she is a roomy tri-cabin. Warm, comfortable, well-lit, and spacious: all easy identifiers for this boat. Beginning in the bow: a comfortable v-berth, just aft is a bunk room to port with a head across to starboard. Your family or guests have very comfortable quarters. Each cabin has extensive storage and hanging lockers, the cabins are well-lit and provide more room than one expects.
Just three steps up is the open saloon area. The lower helm is starboard with an access door to the starboard side deck. The galley, just aft of the helm is L-shaped with a large Norcold refrigerator and freezer, 3-burner propane stove and oven, double stainless sink and a microwave tucked in the end of the cabinets. Generous counter space and storage give a sense of being able to provision for a long cruise and prepare meals for many. To port is an L-shaped settee (with updated upholstery) and saloon table which converts to another double sleeping berth. There is a sliding door giving access to the decks or for ease in boarding. Large windows and lighting throughout provide excellent visibility and light, day or night. The windows have refreshed, updated draperies with custom tie-backs - very tastefully done!
The large, full-beam master cabin is aft and has a full walk around berth, private ensuite head with a tub and shower combo. The current owner has installed a new electric macerating Tecma toilet, which is a bonus! Large lockers and drawers take advantage of any space useable for storage!
This boat is a great live aboard or long cruiser option!

Broker's Comments
This Albin 43 has a classic and classy trawler profile. She has been outfitted with a brand new 1000 lb dinghy davit off her stern. Owner continues to complete upgrades and changes to enhance her livability!
Her two stateroom, plus one bunk room and two head layout with an up galley and salon provide loads of room to entertain or enjoy cruising from the lower helm with your guests. Storage throughout the boat is extensive. Interior lighting and helm visibility is excellent. The deck is quickly and easily accessed through either the door at the lower helm or the port sliding door at midship.
She is equipped with twin Perkins 135 hp engines. While underway she handles very well in winds and chop; for a semi-displacement hull the seller reports that she has a very “heavy” comfortable ride. The bow is high with a wide flare, coupled with high bulwarks, you will have a dry ride in most conditions.
Her interior is all teak and the joinery details are impressive and delightful. The seller has identified areas of water damage and has repaired sources of the damage. The seller has also addressed 2016 survey findings and made many additional improvements.
If you are looking for a comfortable trawler with the possibility of living aboard or extensive cruising, you will not want to miss this one!
